What is tooth sensitivity?

A phenomenon in which teeth become irritated as the gum bones are exposed as the teeth are poorly maintained or as they age.It is a symptom that is often seen during the changing season when the cold wind starts blowing. It is recommended to refrain from cold or hot water as much as possible. In severe cases, nerve damage can occur.

3 cases sensitive teeth

Gingival bones exposure due to aging As you age, the gum bones (alveolar bones) that cover the roots of the teeth collapse and are exposed, causing a toothache to feel from external stimuli.

Dentin exposure Dentin may be exposed due to strong brushing and may cause dents, and teeth irritate regardless of age.

Severe caries progression As the tooth decay gets worse, the nerve wall in the middle of the tooth gets closer and closer to the sensation. Cold and hot sensations and sweet foods can also cause soreness and pain.
